Deleting your connected account data

CPOS can connect to your Instagram and Facebook accounts so we can post your videos for your business and show you how those posts perform. This page explains what we keep from those accounts and how to have it deleted.

What we store

When you connect an account, we store:

  • The access permission that account gave us, so we can post when you approve it
  • Your account or Page ID, and its name
  • The posts we published for you, and their performance numbers (views, likes, comments, shares)

We do not store your password, your private messages, or information about your followers or customers.

Disconnect by text

Text us "disconnect Instagram" or "disconnect Facebook" from the same number you use with CPOS. We stop using that account right away and delete what we stored from it within 30 days. Posts already on your Instagram or Facebook stay there, because they are yours. Delete them from that app if you want them gone.

To delete everything we stored from your connected accounts, text us "delete my data".

Ask us to delete it

Email privacy@cpos.com and include the email or phone number you use with CPOS. Use the subject line Delete my connected account data. We will confirm your request and delete the data within 30 days.

Remove access from Instagram or Facebook

  • Instagram: Settings, then Apps and websites, then remove CPOS.
  • Facebook: Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations, then remove CPOS.

When we see access has been removed, we delete what we stored from that account within 30 days.

For anything else about your data, see our Privacy Policy.
